Welcome

Hi guys. If you have any questions. This is the place for answers. I love sugar gliders and I hope you do too.

How To's

How To's

Some stuff you buy at the store for your sugar glider can easily be made with your own hands and some material. Just using some old fabric lying around would be perfect for one of these crafts. These crafts are easy and quick to make at all.

Pouch

1 old strechy book cover
some thread
needle
polyester stuffing

With the old book cover, make sure that the parts that would cover the inside of a book touch. Take a small handful of stuffing and put it aside. Thread the needle and sew some of the book cover together (make sure to sew the parts that are touching). When you are about a quarter through, spread the stuffing along the insid of the book cover. Finish sewing the book cover together, then tie it off. Next, take all of the corners of the book cover, and pull them together. Take some more thread and sew them together to where they stay together. Tie that off and all you have to do is take a piece of copper or wire and hook it to the cage. The pouch will be perfect for you glider, and it'll be washable too.

Scratching Post

1 thick small stick
10 2in. pieces of yarn
5 2 by 4in of cardboard

Your special glider always needs his nails dull, so this is a way so you wont have to worry about clipping them. Take the pieces of card board and glue them together. Try to punch a hole in the middle of them with a knife so that the stick and fit. Take the knife and sort of widle holes into the stick. Take the pieces of yarn and put them through the holes so its like a toy to the sugar gliders. Feathers and bells would be good too. Since they love to play with those

Feather Toy

3-4 ft of yarn
3 feathers (peacock, chicken, craft)
hot glue gun
5-6 beads

Take the yarn and tie it off at the end. Then string the beads and tie them off. Then take each feather and hot glue it just above the knot. Make a loop at the other end to hold it. And whoala! You have yourself a sugar glider feather toy.

If you have any questions on how to make certain things, don't be afraid to ask and I'll answer it as quick as I can.
